The Epiphone B.B. King Lucille pays homage to the iconic guitars of blues legend B.B. King, all bearing the name Lucille, drawing inspiration from the various Gibson ES™ models he favored throughout his career. This tribute guitar boasts remarkable features, including opulent gold hardware, precision Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and an ebony fretboard adorned with pearloid block inlays. Its elegance is further accentuated by a brass truss rod cover engraved with B.B. King's name, a mother of pearl Lucille inlay on the headstock, and multi-ply binding on both the body and headstock. The TP-6 tailpiece with fine tuners, along with its semi-hollow body incorporating a maple center block for feedback reduction, adds to its allure. Notably, unlike most semi-hollowbody guitars, the B.B. King Lucille lacks f-holes, a feature specifically requested by B.B. King himself to minimize feedback. The guitar's electronics are equally impressive, featuring a six-position Varitone switch, a pair of Alnico Classic PRO™ humbucking pickups wired to CTS potentiometers, and both stereo and mono output jacks for maximum versatility.
