Up for sale is a used Boss BD-2 Blues Driver featuring the sought-after Keeley Phat Mod. This pedal has been fully tested and functions perfectly. It’s in good condition, with only minor cosmetic wear typical of normal use.
The BD-2 is a classic overdrive pedal, widely known as a more dynamic alternative to the TS9 Tube Screamer. Keeley’s renowned modification elevates the BD-2 with upgraded components, delivering warmer tones, improved responsiveness, and a richer, more expressive overdrive.
This particular model includes the optional Phat Mod, identifiable by the exterior toggle switch. The Phat switch adds extra bass and low-end depth, making your tone fatter and more versatile—especially great for single coils or thinner amps. These Phat Mod versions are more desirable and can fetch a premium over the standard Keeley mod.
