Up for sale is a rare and stunning Gibson J-185 12-String acoustic guitar, complete with its original hardshell case. This guitar is in overall clean condition, with one notable exception: there is some damage on the back of the headstock (please inquire for photos or details). Despite this, the guitar plays wonderfully, sounds fantastic, and has been well cared for. It also comes equipped with a factory-installed LR Baggs VTC pickup system, with the output jack neatly integrated at the lower strap button for convenience.

Originally introduced in 1951, the Gibson J-185 was designed as a slightly smaller-bodied alternative to the SJ-200, offering exceptional tonal balance, superior responsiveness, and more comfortable playability. In comparison, many players find the J-185 to be easier to play, with more balanced lows, mids, and highs, and a richer overall tone.
