Gretsch

The Gretsch Family over the last 135 years have created a sound that no other can replicate. Gretsch has pioneered new designs and manufacturing techniques, winning endorsements from some of the music industry’s most respected artists, including Chet Atkins, Eddie Cochran, Billy Duffy, Bono, Duane Eddy, George Harrison, Brian Setzer, Stephen Stills and Malcolm Young. Each artist redefined the Gretsch sound by bringing them into genres no one expected them to go to. Whether its high voltage rock n' roll or chicken pickin' country music, these guitars can do it all.

The world changed forever when George Harrison walked onto the stage of the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 and played his Gretsch Country Gentlemen. By the 80s, Gretsch sadly suffered a shutdown. By 1984, the Gretsch Family revived the brand and carried it all the way up to today. In 2002, a deal was struck for Fender Musical Instruments Corp. to handle Gretsch Guitars manufacturing and distribution, allowing "That Great Gretsch Sound" to be heard in even more places around the world. Ever since then, everyone around the world could own one of these amazing guitars.

At Danny D's, we are a proud dealer of Gretsch guitars. Come check out our selection today!
