This used 2003 Gibson SG shows its age, but it's all character and tone. It does not include a case, and it has plenty of cosmetic wear—scratches, dings, and chips are visible across the body, neck, and headstock (as shown in the photos). The back of the neck has been sanded or worn down, giving it a smooth, satin-like feel that many players prefer for faster movement and comfort.

Electronics are fully functional. The neck pickup has been upgraded to a Lollar Lollartron, giving it a rich, articulate tone. The bridge pickup appears to be original, and the guitar has been fitted with a Bigsby tremolo in place of the traditional stopbar tailpiece.

Despite its battle scars, this SG looks great and sounds even better. It's a rock and blues machine—perfect for everything from the raw crunch of AC/DC to the soulful tones of The Allman Brothers. The Gibson SG is known for its incredible versatility and has a legacy to match.

Originally introduced in 1961 as a redesign of the Les Paul model, the guitar was later rebranded as the SG—"Solid Guitar"—after Les Paul distanced himself from the new design. Since then, it’s become a legend in its own right, used by iconic players like Angus Young, Tony Iommi, Mick Taylor, and Derek Trucks.

If you're looking for a no-frills, tone-rich guitar with real mojo and history, this 2003 Gibson SG is ready to deliver.
