Zentropy

Houston based Zentropy features creatively arranged covers and original songs, complex vocal harmonies with a strong emphasis on the groove. Zentropy is inspired by jam bands such as the Grateful Dead and Phish, blues/rock artists like Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix and works to mix these influences with New Orleans jazz, funk and R&B stylings to create a potent musical mojo.

Zentropy’s quest is to spontaneously create, through group improvisation, amazing music by tapping into the abundant but disorderly energy all around us. In short, we seek to reach a state where “the music plays the band”. Whether we get there or not, we promise that it will be an interesting and fun musical journey!

 
Robert Greaney

Robert Greaney captivates audiences with his electrifying guitar playing and silky vocals. As a solo artist, he's able to blend different musical styles together to create his own unique sound. From rock, blues, jazz, country, island tunes, and his own original music...he plays it all!

Robert has done session work and played lead guitar and sang for many successful bands. He shifted his efforts to a solo performer in 2000 and uses 'background tracks' to project the sound of a full band. He plays a variety of venues including clubs, restaurants, country clubs, resorts, weddings, private parties, and holiday parties.

the Dead Leslies

The Dead Leslies are all students at U of H and have been playing college bars and hang outs around houston for the past two years. Venues like SuperHappyFunLand, Bohemeos, the Mink, Mangos, Avant Garden, and others.

Friday May 20 at Avant Garden on Westheimer- we're playing with another local act called Yello Echo and another band to be determined.

Friday June 10 at Bohemoes we're playing with Art Institute-Limited, who is playing Summerfest music festival a week before, and another UH band called the Fevers.
