The Alvarez RF17CE Regent Series Folk/OOO Size Acoustic-Electric Cutaway is a serious guitar and constructed using many of the same components and techniques used in building their higher end instruments. It sounds and plays superbly well and is a classic looking folk guitar.

The RF17CE has a spruce top and rosewood back and sides, classic tone woods that generate a warm and well-balanced tone with great highs and lows. Alvarez have made the neck profile on Regent Series a little finer so they're easier to play and every model is constructed using a dovetail neck joint that optimizes the transfer of energy between the neck and body.

This acoustic-electric guitar has a 3-band E.Q. with built in tuner and is equally at home both on and off stage.

All Regent Series instruments are fitted with the Alvarez bi-level bridge to carry more vibration to the top, which improves tone and resonance, and the PPS saddle and nut help to improve response and sustain.

This instrument has been finished using an electrostatic painting process for a more even finish that uses less paint in its application. This allows the guitar to sing a little more and it also looks fantastic.
